From Genome to Proteome: Advances in the Practice and Application of Proteomics
Published in Hardcover by Vch Verlagsgesellschaft Mbh (January, 1900)
Average review score:

good collection but you can get it onlineThis book (more than 500 pages) combined about 68 articles already published in "Electrophoresis" journal in 1999. The selected contents about proteome analysis (such as reviews, 2-DE, mass spectrometry, cell and tissue, ...) is categorized into different sections. It's good to review or find any approach and application about proteomics from these articles. But, this book is not worth if you can access the journal online (I mean you or your institution subscribe for it). I think I have about 99% of articles collected in this book in PDF files and some print out.

I Stand by Sand Creek: A Defense of Colonel John M. Chivington and the Third Colorado Cavalry

Unbelivable NonsenseAnyone who justifies the mutilation of bodies, the wearing of women's body parts as hat ornaments, the smashing of children's heads as they beg for their lives, is a very sick person. People who would justify this would justify the holocaust.

James Dunn: Champion for Religious Liberty

BJCPA trying to cover it's beaten hideJames Dunn was a flake who alienated everyone in the Baptist Joint Committee for Public Affairs, and he may have even fatally wounded the body now that the Southern Baptist Convention no longer participates. The blames rests solely on his shoulders for demolishing the BJCPA and causing friction within Baptist life in North America. He was perhaps the most disasterous president the BJCPA ever had.

The recipes are very similar to what you'll find in the Moosewood cookbooks (without the lectures!). Some readers may not be able to find many of the ingredients at their local grocer's (agar-agar, kudzu, and gomasio, to name a few). This coookbook more heavily emphasizes Indian and Asian cooking than Moosewood cookbooks do, however, so access to a good Asian food market would definitely help.
This is an interesting cookbook if you enjoy very earthy, holistic-type eating, or are interested in the authors' lifestyle recommendations. For me, I'll be donating my copy to the library in hopes someone else will find a use for it.
